What Students Are Saying about Me

Jin Sik does a great job in showing passion and enthusiasm on the subject. He is a great professor to have as he shows great character within the classroom. He utilizes great methods in teaching the class and is available to help out any student when he or she needs it.

Jin Sik is a fun teacher to have and it nice to see a professor have this much passion in teaching and for the students.

I find the concepts and topics he covered in the class very, very interesting. It feels a lot more applicable to the real-world than some of the other business classes I've taken that cover far too many theoretical concepts that are simply just not practical. I am not sure how long he has been teaching, but I think he has a lot of potential to grow as a professor. He cares a lot about his students and wants us to succeed. This has been an awesome class for me.

— Undergraduate Students, Class of 2019.

Great methodology of explaining topics that would be difficult to understand, Extremely patient when teaching new and difficult material, & Good overall teaching style.

He is very enthusiastic about the subject and really cares about the students learning and experience! Prof. Kim provides a wealth of additional concepts to extend the ideas that are available in the text. Also, he could provide Integrating real-world skills and technical knowledge to the course.

In Sum, lectures are informative, practice in class is effective, and enthusiasm and energy make the class fun

Fantastic resource, learned more from Jin Sik about machine learning than an entire class on Python or any other class in the program.

Jin Sik is a very down-to-earth guy and has a bundle of energy and patience. His sessions on Web mining and using R/ R-studio were very useful.

He is very talented and enjoys teaching his students.
